A tumultuous season at Arizona State has led to a tumultuous off-season, as another Arizona State star has entered the transfer portal. The player is Alonzo Verge Jr., who announced that if he plays college hoops next season, he will use his extra year of eligibility somewhere else.
Verge averaged 14 points per game last season as a senior, but will now enter the portal to see what other options are out there.
He was Arizona State's third leading scorer last season. Top scorer Remy Martin and fourth leading scorer Marcus Bagley have already announced transfer intentions, while second leading scorer Josh Christopher announced he will enter the NBA Draft.
